People can only meet you as deeply as they meet themselves

People can only meet you as deeply as they meet themselves…

It turns out that finding people who truly get you — who share your worldview, values, and depth — isn’t something that comes easily. Everyone’s experiences, emotions, and thoughts are different, and that makes every connection unpredictable.

Sometimes, we don’t align. That’s real and it happens. But if both sides are willing to acknowledge life’s complexity and seek good in it, there’s a bit more room to grow together. Every time we pause to reflect, shift perspectives, and communicate honestly — that’s when we start to understand not just each other, but also ourselves, on a deeper level.

I say this because, after many “maybe laters” in life, you’ll realize that some of your happiest moments come from the simplest things:
– working with teammates who trust and support you,
– chatting for hours with someone who actually understands what you’re feeling,
– sharing meals with people who believe in you more than you believe in yourself.

And most importantly — you’ll stop abandoning yourself in the process of trying to fix someone or something that was never meant to meet you at your depth.

Life is short. I hope you find the kind of relationships that are long enough to stay with you for years to come.
